Novato, CA (PRWEB) January 11, 2008 -- www.onelegal.com - One Legal LLC, California's leading court filing (http://www.onelegal.com/DirectServices.aspx) and process serving company, has announced that Jerry O'Connell has been hired to fill the role of vice president of finance. In this position, he will oversee the company's financial operations, administration and human resources.

O'Connell brings more than 30 years of experience in finance, strategic planning and financial operations. Most recently, he served as chief financial officer and vice president of finance and administration for Aircraft Shopper Online, an Internet publisher of pre-owned aircraft in Corte Madera, Calif. During his tenure, Jerry directed all aspects of financial operations, corporate governance, human resources and internal systems development. Prior to that, he was vice president of finance and administration for International Training and Exchange, Inc. (Intrax) in San Francisco, Calif., a multi-unit educational travel and international exchange firm.

"Jerry brings a wealth of financial knowledge and experience that will serve us well as we begin our national expansion in 2008," says Robert DeFilippis, the company's president and COO. "We are fortunate to have someone with his credentials to guide us into the future from both a strategic and a financial perspective."

One Legal offers court filing, service of process and document retrieval (court research) throughout California, as well as eFiling and eService in Texas. The company will be expanding its services this year in partnership with CT, and will be the first to offer nationwide court filing and document retrieval services. In December, 2007, One Legal formed a strategic partnership with CT--the market leader for corporate compliance and governance, UCC, matter management, e-billing, litigation support, electronic discovery and trademark research solutions--to provide the infrastructure and financial resources to support this expansion. CT, a Wolters Kluwer business, is based in New York City.

"The challenge of taking a company to a national level is filled with exciting financial challenges and hurdles. I look forward to working with the One Legal management team to address these challenges and continue as the leader in the legal support services profession," says O'Connell.

Jerry resides in San Rafael, Calif. with his wife and daughter.

Perhaps houses like yours can now be bought for less, and if you hold out for what you paid, you'll just waste your time.. On the other hand, perhaps prices in your area have taken off, and you'd short-change yourself if you just tried to "get my money out" (but you'd have a fast sale.). * You can't go by how much you've spent on improvements.
